I have tried to decrease the amount of games I play in order to be able to reply to moves made by my opponents faster. I am currently playing 186 games simultaneously which is a decent drop from the 216 games that is my current highest amount of simultaneous games. I could, of course, reply to moves made against me faster if I would not care that much of the outcome of the moves but I kind of like to win so I try make the best moves I possibly can. This mentality is probably what is the main reason for my rating increase in different sites. I have been able to increase my ratings at Red Hot Pawn, Chess.com and Queen Alice Internet Chess Club around 100 points in each site after I started playing correspondence chess again this year. Only on Red Hot Pawn though I am currently at my peak rating on the site which is 1821.
The blog features analysed games of mine, consisting of chess, chess960 and 3 check. There are also puzzles that you can solve by moving the pieces on the board and the solution can be checked by using the engine provided by the ChessBase's publishing tool. All games and puzzles can be downloaded for free!
