I may have a problem of sorts, albeit I have tried to mostly not enter anymore tournaments and otherwise increase the amount of games that I play, I did enter a couple more tournaments today... Mainly due to the thinking times being long enough and one tournament even was a Ruy Lopez thematic tournament that I allowed myself to join those tournaments. This will most likely increase the amount of simultaneous games back over 200 but so be it. It is somehow still maintainable amount of games but it might drive me mad if most of games start to be in situations that I do not know what to do. This many simultaneous games has also affected in my logging into ICC or Playchess, I just have no time for it anymore which I would obviously want to change at some point. Then again I would most likely just play blitz in either of these sites and not playing blitz might have increased my overall strength. My steady climb at Red Hot Pawn seems to continue at least for now as I got to my highest ever rating there yet again, new peak at 1848. I wonder how long I can keep that nice progress going and when the eventual downhill starts.
The second game in this line is from the 2014 August Grand Seven Fourteen III tournament that is held at Red Hot Pawn. It is a tournament where there are 21 players who play against each other twice, once with both colors. Joining these kind of tournaments increases your games in progress by 40 games instantly when they start. Third place finish is the highest I can hope for to get as the players in front of me are too far for me to reach as I have lost too many points in the tournament. In the game below the rating difference is just too great to make this an even battle for victory.
