This is just one of the many examples where I play well up to a point and then comes the brain fart after which I play the worst move possible and lose easily. My self-destructing tendencies when I play chess is probably my biggest problem that inhibits my improvement. Then again, maybe it is my unawareness of tactics in the position that enables my losing ways.
