B12 Caro-Kann: Advance Variation (1.e4 c6 2.d4 d5 3.e5 Bf5 4.Nf3)
This is another short game that ended in a timeout victory for me. The final position favors Black slightly but in order it to matter, the player who controls the black pieces needs to actually move in the time allowed... My last move in the game was not that good and after that Black seems to get a slightly better position. I should have instead played 13.g4 in order to keep the black knight on the bad square h6. The reason why my move was bad is due to the fact that the knight could have jumped to f5 next move where it would have been more active. The game below was played in a tournament called 2014 September Grand Seven Fourteen III. It is one the tournaments at Red Hot Pawn that I can still win if everything goes right.
