When this game was played I really did not like to play chess, so I ended some of the games like this. This game was previously under just C41 Philidor Defense: General but when I today added a game there I noticed a problem that would have bothered me if I had left this game there. The problem that I had was that there are sometimes opening variations where the ECO code and the name of the variation is the same but the moves given in theory differ from each other in some way. This was one of those cases, so if I come across something like this again I will also put the line in the name of the post in order to separate them from each other. This was unscheduled post so if I can find a game where I come across an opening I have not featured here, I will also post that today as this was basically a repost of older one, sort of. If I can't find a game with a suitable opening, there are always my Chess960 games that I can turn to. The name was updated and corrected once again in October 11th 2015.
The blog features analysed games of mine, consisting of chess, chess960 and 3 check. There are also puzzles that you can solve by moving the pieces on the board and the solution can be checked by using the engine provided by the ChessBase's publishing tool. All games and puzzles can be downloaded for free!
