D37 Queen's Gambit Declined: 5.Bf4 (1.d4 e6 2.c4 d5 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.Nf3 Be7 5.Bf4 O-O 6.h3 Nbd7 7.e3 c6 8.Bd3 dxc4 9.Bxc4 Nb6)
It has been annoyingly common lately that when I face a new opening variation, my opponent loses on time and the game is left unfinished. This short game is just one more example of that. The position at the end is pretty much even. This was played in a 50 board team match between CHOCOLATE II and CYBERMEN ELITE. I played board 3 for CHOCOLATE II and won both of my games on time. The match is still ongoing and the score while I type this is 30 - 56 in favor of CYBERMEN ELITE. That of course means that they have already secured the win. I played again one rapid tournament today at the FIDE Online Arena, only to discover that it was a bad idea, I was losing almost every game and my head did not seem to in a proper working condition. I am going to play one more tournament today to see if I regain some of the rating points that I lost earlier today or am I just going down like I would be in free fall. I have added two mate in ones, one mate in three, one mate in five and one mate in six.
