For some reason quite a few games of mine from the Maximum ! tournament round one have ended recently and the game below is just one of them. I am quite happy about it as the more I get my game load down, the more I can do other things. I am currently playing 241 correspondence games, so slowly getting the game load down but still a long way to go for it to be in my comfort zone. I could juggle even more games than this without losing on time of course but it becomes quite stressful after having to make a lot of moves each day for many months in a row, especially when you need to do other things as well during the day. My opponent offered a draw in that final position and as I was not all that eager to play anymore because I did not like my position all that much, I took the draw. I have also added one mate in one, two mate in twos, one mate in three and one mate in seven puzzle today.
The blog features analysed games of mine, consisting of chess, chess960 and 3 check. There are also puzzles that you can solve by moving the pieces on the board and the solution can be checked by using the engine provided by the ChessBase's publishing tool. All games and puzzles can be downloaded for free!
