Another win made possible by the fact that my opponent lost on time. If joysaha had not lost on time, I could have been in a lot of trouble since Black is better in the final position. My pieces do not have all that many good squares to go to while Black can play with his pieces more freely. The game below was played in a team match called A new Era. It was played between In Service of The Master and Himgouree's club. I played on board one for Himgouree's club in this match. The final result in the match was 6 - 2 in favor of In Service of The Master, so we lost this four board match quite clearly. The way I have played at Chess.com recently, it will be unlikely that I would break my peak rating in Online Chess anytime soon, maybe never. My highest rating there, 1974, I achieved January 15th 2009. Since then I have not been even close to breaking that. I was over 1900 briefly this year but now my rating has stayed between 1820 and 1860 for quite some time now. The reason why it does not seem to take any huge plummets or skyrocket to new heights might be because the opponents I have faced recently are quite a bit higher rated than when I was able to get my rating over 1900 last time. There might be other peak ratings there that I am unable at this time to break, for example, my tactics trainer rating which peaked at 2165 February 21st 2012 is something I may not be able to break at all. My current rating at the tactics trainer is 1705 and getting it higher has seemed to be a task that I am not able to do well. I guess a lot more training in that area is required... I have added one mate in two, one mate in three, one mate in five and two mate in six puzzles today. Until next time, my fellow chess enthusiasts!
