When I ended up in this rook endgame with my opponent having the doubled pawns on the e-file, I thought that I could have some edge in it but it turned out much harder to take advantage of the doubled pawns than I initially thought. I think my opponent offered a draw a couple of times and eventually I had to accept because I saw no way to progress into a situation that could be winning for me.
