This game was played in a team match called 15.12.2014 tmylmz84's friendly match series: TCP vs ACR. The match is played between TURK CHESS PLAYERS and ACROPOLIS on 59 boards. I am playing on board 6 for ACROPOLIS. The score in the match is at the moment I am typing this 51,5 - 64,5 in favor of ACROPOLIS which of course means that we are guaranteed winners of the match now and we only need to wait for the remaining games to finish to receive the win officially. When I ended up in this rook endgame with my opponent having the doubled pawns on the e-file, I thought that I could have some edge in it but it turned out much harder to take advantage of the doubled pawns than I initially thought. I think my opponent offered a draw a couple of times and eventually I had to accept because I saw no way to progress into a situation that could be winning for me. I have added one mate in one, one mate in two, two mate in threes and one mate in eight puzzle.
